OUR STORY
In 2014 we opened our doors to the public in & around Leicester to offer a unique concept in cutting-edge Indian food style and approach. The Woolpack Inn was soon acclaimed beyond to all over. The Woolpack Inn is a pub style Indian restaurant, famous for it’s homemade and authentic Indian taste.
Our modern-day take is rooted in age-old Indian traditions, thus delivering taste stirs that take you beyond your expectations but with a reminder of the origins.
The Woolpack Inn cooking methods include core Indian grilling styles of TANDOOR (a really hot clay oven) and TAWA (searing and griddling on a very hot plate). The food is immediately served, as it is prepared: fresh, fragrant and supremely flavorsome.
After the success of our very few homemade sizzlers offered with drinks at & around bar area, we felt ready to bring a full fledge menu upon unimmaginable demand from our regular customers, with innovative possibilities in Indian cuisine.
MAKE A RESERVATION
For those who are happy to dine within an allocated timeslot, we are pleased to offer reservations.
Dining at the Woolpack will commence at 17:30.
A maximum of 8 people can book a table/dining pod which will be allocated a maximum of 2 hours.We remind guests that a 15 min grace period will be given for bookings and your reservation will be cancelled thereafter. Walk Ins – We do offer a walk in system, however we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all that come by. We strongly recommend that you book online or call ahead if you are looking to dine with us on the same day. Drinking Only Tables – Currently we are only taking reservations for Dining and due to reduced capacity we are unable to offer tables for people looking to visit us for drinks only.
